In Celebration of Mother's Day: Family Yoga at Prospect Park
✨Join us for a free, family-friendly afternoon of movement, music, and connection in Prospect Park! Led by holistic practitioner and movement guide Flo Hunte, this special event invites parents, guardians, or caring adults and their children (ages 4–10) to experience Floga—a soulful, beginner-friendly yoga practice that blends Somatic Movement with R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Afrobeats.

Virtual: Getting Ready for Kindergarten Workshop
Join Kwenda Collegiate Girls for a joyful and practical virtual workshop designed to help families support their children’s transition into Kindergarten. Led by Kwenda’s Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, Raquel Rodriguez-Garo, and Assistant Director of Operations, Steph Myrie, this session will cover what Kindergarten readiness really means—academically, emotionally, and logistically. Whether you're wondering what skills to focus on over the summer or what to expect on the first day, this workshop offers a warm, informative space to ask questions and get expert guidance from the Kwenda team.
